I’m Kat Liepins–a mixed media artist, illustrator, and YouTuber living and working in Chicago, Illinois. Since early childhood, making art has been my passion–my true joy in life. 

My world is one of inspiration, 80s vibes, eye-popping brightness (even though my subject matter is sometimes a little horrific and dark...insert evil laugh here) and where I also have the pleasure of engaging with a community of fellow artists, clients, collectors, and fabulous fans.  

I want for any person who dreams of pursuing art as an occupation or in any capacity to feel confident that they can do it. I hope to act as “living proof” and help to those that have the fire within them to go for it. I strive to make the process of creating art approachable, fun, and entertaining (I love to laugh–A LOT) and work every day to make art that’s readily available for everyone to watch, see, share, and enjoy!
